And ended the season with 10 sacks and 17 TFLs. I know he's old, but how does a guy with that size, speed, and production playing in the Big 12 last till the 7th round?Redskins selected Oklahoma State DE Jordan Brailford with the No. 253 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Brailford (6’3/252) went from a solid early-career college player to a dominant force in his final season, leading the Big 12 in sacks (9) and tallying 16 TFLs to earn first-team all conference in 2018. Brailford helped himself at the Combine with 83rd-percentile SPARQ results, including 4.65 speed and a 10-foot-6 broad jump. Turning 24 in October, Brailford is on the old side for a rookie and won with effort and strength in the Big 12 as opposed to pass-rush variety or bend around the edge. Unlikely to evolve into an NFL starter, Brailford best projects as a special teams force with some nickel-rusher potential.
