Redskins selected Oklahoma State DE Jordan Brailford with the No. 253 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Brailford (6’3/252) went from a solid early-career college player to a dominant force in his final season, leading the Big 12 in sacks (9) and tallying 16 TFLs to earn first-team all conference in 2018. Brailford helped himself at the Combine with 83rd-percentile SPARQ results, including 4.65 speed and a 10-foot-6 broad jump. Turning 24 in October, Brailford is on the old side for a rookie and won with effort and strength in the Big 12 as opposed to pass-rush variety or bend around the edge. Unlikely to evolve into an NFL starter, Brailford best projects as a special teams force with some nickel-rusher potential.

I like this pic, strongest lineman out there (38 reps), 31 Wonderlic (smart), 50 games played, loads at left guard.

He was quoted as being pissed about those 38 reps because he completed 45 earlier. Dude is strong and is said to have a pancake them all state of mind, that's a plus.

I am going B+ off the top of my head

A- the top three picks were impressive enough to warrant that grade alone. The rest are decent picks that fill need and depth. At least one of the OL player will earn a start at LG immediately or in time. The same thing can be said of Bryce Love who prior to being injured had first round standing. Talent doesn't suddenly disappear in youngsters like him. He's a hard worker and dedicated to being an NFL player. He will bounce back in time an become a consistent contributor. I like that the organization also focused on speed in this draft and that too is a plus! All-in-all the grade is A-

I don't grade drafts right after they happen. It is all projection. I like the potential of the players in the draft. We just have to wait to see if it pans out. For the most part we took kids that played a lot of football in college and were not often injured.

I like that the FO has acquired more draft picks the first few years instead of trading them away. I think the most sure player in the draft is Sweat. There is lots of potential though.
