I pained between DeSean and Sammy Watkins. I like Sammy SOOOOO much better.

In the end, Buffalo's QB situation is too terrible, and you can't trust Ryan to actually fix it.

So DeSean I went.

Took Sammy Watkins for the 2nd year in a row. Here is to staying healthy this year and them pulling a QB out of their back pocket.

That was gonna be my pick if I didn't take Foster. Good value in Round 5.

Gurley was a tough guy to pull the trigger on this year.

I don't expect him to get a huge workload to start with Mason there and his knee.

Perhaps, but he's the type of talent that doesn't need a huge workload to put up points. Same with Abdullah. It's a risky approach, but I'd rather swing for the fences on talent, than conservatively draft RB2s with little upside.

Just depends on how you build your team and what consv RB you go with. Not knocking the style. Was just analyzing Gurley as a fantasy pick. Obviously he is a terrific RB no argument there.

Gurley should be pretty serviceable either way. I had my two RB's in the first two rounds so never really thought much about him. If I needed a RB there I'd have likely gone the same route.

I really liked the AJ pick. I think he could have a Luck-induced, bounce-back year. I was torn taking Gurley over him. Even considered him and Peyton in the third instead of Abdullah.

I've always been a big Watkins fan... Not that I expected him to go much higher than I took him but was happy to get him there. His numbers I am sure will be inconsistent given the QB situation but he could also have some big games and hopefully healthier this year than when I had him last year...

I see AJ as a boom or bust. If he stays healthy BOOM for sure, if he doesn't well obviously bust.

If he does stay healthy and doesn't show his decline yet he could be in for a great season. I just don't know about the health. Seems like he has had a lot of nagging injuries that have limited him.

I might have preferred pairing Abdullah/Gurley with a more conservative RB (e.g., Morris), but the way things fell, that really wasn't an option.

Agreed... The trend for rookie RB's in general hasn't been very good the past few years...

I know weekends are not timed but FYI - I've got football all day tomorrow. 4:30 am - 6 pm. So if my turn comes up don't wait around tomorrow.

and I can't send proxy this early in draft.

I'll hop on Sunday and see how far we got though.

Will be out for awhile checking in from my phone... Have a stupid family picture I have to drive home for.

SpringStein is boss. If SWORDS gives him too much to drink don't listen to Mingo and LGM is in charge.
