Mike beat me to the beef Wellington line.

Nice to see him come through for the team. Let's get the third game and get to back to par.

We need to make sure Pollock gets to the ASG.

Wtf Collmeter?! A lead-off HR to scrub hitter like Granderson...

How long before we scrap Collmenter as a starter? If Ray continues to pitch well, move him back into the BP when Bradley or Blair is called up.

I guess batting .227/.326/.388 with 20 HRs gets you $15 mil a year in NY.

The offense is picking Collmenter up.

2-1 with a little help from the Mets' defense.

Looks like it's going to take Lamb a little while to get his hitting going. 0-2 2 SO since coming back. At least he improves our defense while he works out the hitting kinks.

Jeezus...

If Granderson wasn't scrubby enough, he now gives up a 2-run HR to Campbell. Keep shitting all over that mound, Josh.

We're just gonna keep Crapmenter in the rotation the whole season aren't we. He gets rocked every fuckin game. I seriously don't get it.

Crapmenter is throwing batting practice out there. Little league teams would be teeing off on this chump.

4 HRs to scrubs. Congrats though, you made it through 6 innings this time...

deGrom is pitching too well for Hale to put Collmenter out there in the 6th.

Why should fans care when they continue to allow a bullpen guy at best to start. 5.50
era now and growing. A straight 85 mph fastball. So intimidating

Collmenter is leaving everything up today! The Ferris wheel is starting to rust. We need a true ace.

Aaron Blair pitched well again today in Mobile.

Season: 6-2 2.59 58/23 SO/BB 1.14 WHIP

He has had 12 starts this season & has pitched 76.1 innings. That's 6+ innings a start. He started the season slowly by giving 3 up runs in each of his first 3 starts. Then he went on streak of allowing 2 runs or less in 8/9 starts. He has only pitched ONE bad start all season, and that was his previous start prior to today.

I get it, we have a numbers crunch going on with Corbin likely back by the beginning of July, Bradley coming off the DL in a few weeks, & Ray pitching well. To go with Anderson & Hellickson. But you cannot continue to throw Colllmenter out there to lay an egg every 5 days & also keep RDLR in the rotation if you truly are trying to be a .500 or better team.

Why not push Collmenter to the BP, Ramirez to Reno, & call up Blair for a few weeks to see what he can do? At worst, he pitches as bad as Collmenter & gets an idea of what he needs to work on when he is sent back down after Corbin or Bradley are ready to be part of the rotation. Or who knows, he could end up pitching consistently good enough to keep us in games the remainder of the season.

With this offense, keeping us in ball games is all that is needed from the rotation. Something it cannot presently do at least 2/5's through the rotation every time.
