I feel like I should definitely get this one. I'm thinking he played a majority of his career with either the Rays or Red Sox.

Yeah, it should come to you eventually. He played on 7 different AL teams but had a good stint with the Rays. He was on the team that played the Phillies in the WS but he didn't do much in that series (2-20 with a couple RBIS). He did hit 3 HRs against the Red Sox to help get them to the series though.

I actually got it before the WS hint. I don't know what the hell took me so long. I'll do a recent player next to. We still have the Yankee player up in the air for jvett and retro

  • This player played for two teams- both division rivals- for almost the same number of years for each team
  • Won a batting title in 2007
  • Finished his career just sort of a home run milestone marker
  • His final season in the bigs is considered one of the worst ever for a player with a career WAR ranging from 30-39 wins

No, this player is retired (and had a lot more power than Reyes)

Belle actually played for three teams, but you're definitely on the right track. They both had the same game style when they played (but this guy is considered way less of an asshole than Belle). This guy also retired well more recently than Belle

ok, so I see a detroit connection and probably cleveland since they are in the same division. Or maybe the White Sox since Frank Thomas is in there. Magglio Ordonez?

Well- it's been real, but I have to go be a productive member of society and head to class. I'll take my Focalin afterwards and be ready to kick people's ass later today (so long as the player has nothing to do with the 2008 Rays)

Ok, late 80's all the way into early 2000's. Some would call a borderline hall of famer. Great nickname. Had good seasons in both the US and Canada. good power hitter with a good OBP as well. The weird thing is there is another guy who had a very similar career and would fit all of the clues above. But I'm looking for the guy who was born in the US.
