Unbelievable. Nascar just suspended Kurt Busch indefinitely in regards to the domestic violence incident. I bet SHR and sponsors are furious they waited this long to make the decision.

Cute. Both TV and Radio guys were saying it was bump drafting gone wrong, yet the haters such as yourself still want to blame her. We've seen it happen dozens of times now, you can't hit the car in front of you on the left corner in a turn, it's going to spin the car out every time.


Watch the video if you want or don't it makes no difference, it proves that Hamlin did nudge her just enough to pull the car around. The video is on Nascar's official YouTube account and even the title is "Hamlin spins Patrick late". I guess Nascar got it wrong in your opinion as well.

So that's the first time I watched it. Hamlin is bump drafting down the back stretch but is off her entering the corner. For some reason, Patrick breaks the racing line and has drifted up the track a half a lane. This stalls the draft so now she's not accelerating as fast as those behind would anticipate. Denny bumps her barely, but its not like he has anywhere else to go. He's closed in faster since Patrick's car is out of line. And the contact is enough to where she completely loses it.

So it just looks like an unfortunate racing accident typical of Daytona. It's also no secret, whether you're a casual fan or talk to people in the garage, that Patrick can not drive a car that's even remotely loose. She just doesn't have the experience level since she spent all of her career driving cars with an extra 1000lbs of down force. Considering her practice wreck and what I've seen of her in the past, this falls right in line. The car is breaking traction towards overstear before she knows what happens, she gets hit, and then thinks that the hit is what caused everything.

Busch nailed that wall head-on doing approximately 190mph. I thought for sure he was a goner. The HANS device I am quite sure saved his life but his lower legs flop around in that sort of collision. Thus, the injuries to the lower extremities.

With Kyle Busch undergoing surgery to repair the compound fracture in his right leg and the fracture in his left foot, his brother, Kurt is attempting an appeal to save his NASCAR career to NASCAR's ruling of being parked indefinitely. Stewart-Haas have already replaced Busch with Regan Smith in the 41 car. However, Busch has an open offer from Andretti Autosport which needs sponsorship to run a fourth car this year in the IRL because of his good finish last year in the Indy 500. If the appeal fails, an early indications are that it will, I would not be surprised to see Busch running this season in the IRL in an Andretti Autosport car.
