We're 4-10 in our last 14, 3 of those wins coming against the god awful Reds.

Just dropped 2 of 3 to the Reds, after being dominated by the Mets. Not looking good

I liked dropping Heyward in the order, but he should be 5th and get Contrares some better pitches. Fucking LaStella back up and immediately starts at third again. Just a bad week with all this planning to get Warren a start, it seems to have put the whole team in a tired mode. Could have used the all star break this week instead of next.

Last night we lose to the Braves.......And tonight,down 3-0 already to Pittsburgh..........This season is turning into a fiasco.

Just seems like the ones that can use the break to energize again are at the all star game. Jake had a rough second inning, but was getting stiffed on the low outside corner later in the game. Could have pulled him when they got the lead and had a good outing, but there is no trust in the pen now.

Apparently they are sending Fowler for a rehab so he can play in the all star game.

Contrares supposedly catching lester today.

Warren might solidify the bullpen some, but who knows what happened to Hammel.

Just gave up an out of the stadium grand slam to a guy who hadn't homered this year.

I meant that he left the start again with an injury. Seems they dont get alot of disclosure from these veteran starters.

5-15. Sucks that we got 14 hits to their 9, and they doubled our score. It sucks that I feel nostalgia when we play a stretch of games like this. #cublife

well, at least Hendricks is keeping his spot after Lester. They say it will be Hendricks, Hammel and Lackey after the break against Texas which basically puts Lackey in the 5 position. Hendricks is the only one that has not completely lost it.

and he is still the guy people want replaced in the rotation.

There is no one to replace in the rotation. Even if they were to add another top of the rotation arm they are more likely to go to a six man rotation than send one of the current starters to the bullpen. I'm just waiting for Tuesday to see if Arrieta's mechanics and control are back to form or if whatever nagging injury he has is still effecting him. If he's still not right they need to throw him on the DL now until he is back to 100%.
