Cowboys declared S Juanyeh Thomas, CB Noah Igbinoghene, RB Deuce Vaughn, OL Asim Richards, CB Eric Scott Jr., DE Viliami Fehoko Jr., and QB Trey Lance inactive for Week 6 against the Chargers.
Vaughn will be inactive for the first time this season, which could mean additional work for Rico Dowdle behind starter Tony Pollard. Trey Lance will again serve as the team’s emergency quarterback.

Chargers WR Joshua Palmer is active for Week 6 against the Cowboys.
Palmer came into the contest listed as questionable with a groin injury that reportedly occurred during the team’s final practice on Saturday. Even so, he tested the injury before the game with the head athletic trainer and got the green light to suit up against the Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Palmer has a nice opportunity to take advantage of the heavy Cover-1 rates of the Cowboys defense, an alignment against which he holds a 32 percent target market share during the 2023 season. Inactive for the Chargers are S Alohi Gilman, CB Deane Leonard, RB Elijah Dotson, OL Zack Bailey, WR Simi Fehoko, and NT Christopher Hinton.
