Same for me. Had Mack started Major, we're playing Miami for the '01 title and we had the athletes and team to beat the Canes that year. We whipped CU earlier in the year 41-7 and Mack & Chrissy pull one of the biggest choke jobs ever in the BIg 12 CCG in front of a burnt orange crowd at Texas Stadium, especially after hearing LSU upset Tennessee at the stadium, with the crowd of burnt orange exploding with cheers b/c that paved the way for Texas to play Miami for the BCS title. Miami struggled to beat an awful B.C team and an average VA Tech team. To think that '01 Texas team couldn't beat Miami is pretty stupid, considering tOSU beat the same Miami team a year later. '01 Miami receives a shit load of hype due to all of the 1st rounders that went into the NFL, not b/c it was a dominant team.

Texas went 1-2 vs ranked teams in '01. They weren't even in the same level as Miami. It hurts, I know, but it is the truth.

That's just silly. Texas had a stable of WRs,Major, and actually had a RunD that year... They matched up better than any team in CFB. You have to agree to that statement. [maybe oregon].

You also said they would beat Texas '05. That might be true, but remember: Almost every player from the '05 team went to the NFL. 5 CBs were STARTING in the NFL within 2 years. 5!.

heck, even Selvin Young was starting for the Broncos for over half a season.
