Yep.

Draft loaded with options to take his snaps with little dropoff.

Don't understand the motivation for Buffalo.
The Pats are at the end of their run.
Gotta have that big play/quick strike guy on the roster

We'll see what Tom Brady does, but if the Pats seriously roll out with Stidham or some clown like that at QB, you gotta put the Bills as the AFC East favorites almost by default prior to the draft, right?

Considering Brady was the only offensive player with a shred of talent, obviously yes.

Seems like the price for Diggs sky rocketed when the trade for Hopkins got done. Still think its dumb Bill O'Brian didn't wait on it like the Vikings did with Diggs since last year when everyone was inquiring about him at the trade deadline. Trading away Clowney for cents on the dollar and same with Hopkins shows that he should not be in charge on player management I don't know why management gave him so much power

brady is gronking the patriots all over again. like TE's didnt want to sign not knowing if gronk was coming back or not, now guys wont come here (or are telling teams they won go) not knowing the pats QB situation.

PS does anyone really see brady in tampa?

I think they overpaid, especially considering this is probably the best wide receiver class ever in the draft

I think TB is great fit. Not sure where at this point he ends up.

Minnesota better make the most of what they got because Diggs was the complete piece to that offense. Who caught the pass against the Saints? Who's less injury-prone?

I think he only had 2 catches this past win over the saints. But yes, he had the miracle

I know you mad

He's probably better than you give him credit for, but I'm assuming GB bias

With that said, yes, I think MN did very well in this trade. I like Diggs and will miss him, but vikings got a good haul, now it's up to them to do something with it

Don't get me wrong, I think Diggs is very good. Just don't think he was worth all of the draft picks the Bills gave up.

Diggs is a known quantity. Draft options are lottery tickets. Buffalo gets an elite route runner that will draw double teams. That opens up the run game and passing game in one fell swoop. Not the big WR I would've preferred, but a solid #1 option with good contract value. Also shortens any adjustment period for Allen, as a rookie WR would need time to adjust to the speed of the league. That helps the Bills make the decision on Allen before he hits his extension.

He's a Top 30 WR for sure. Totally worth four picks...

Diggs is a really good WR who was obviously unhappy at times in Minny. We will see how he feels with Josh Allen throwing to him but at least Allen won't check it down when Diggs gets open deep. Allen may not be all that accurate but he's not afraid to go for it. Not sure if the Bills should give up all that draft capital but we shall see.
Can't really say I can compare this to the Hopkins trade because, well, Buttchin gonna Buttchin, if you know what I mean. "You can't fix stupid."

Hopkins > Diggs and the cards got him & a 4th for a washed up RB and a second.

This was a great move for the Vikes.

Yep. Their passing game looks a lot less threatening right now but this is the year to have picks to spend if you're in need of a wide receiver. They probably also figure to give Irv Smith a bigger role as well as a 2 TE team that wants to run the ball.
