I'd be surprised if the game is delayed. There's probably enough covered space where the players can stretch/warmup with the field not available.

• Bills declared S Damar Hamlin, CB Kaiir Elam, DE Kingsley Jonathan, G Germain Ifedi and OT Alec Anderson inactive for Week 1 against the Jets.
  No real surprises here as the Bills enter Week 1 relatively healthy. Josh Allen and the rest of the offense will have their hands full with the ferocious pass rush from New York, but they do so with all starters active.

Jets declared RB Israel Abanikanda, DE Carl Lawson, WR Jason Brownlee, WR Irvin Charles, OT Max Mitchell and LB Zaire Barnes inactive for Week 1 against the Bills.
That leaves wide receiver Xavier Gipson active, who could help on special teams as a kick returner. Assuming Gipson is active to help on special teams, that could mean Mecole Hardman is expected to see an increased slot snap rate compared to preseason action as he is currently listed atop the team’s depth chart for kick returns.
