This was my big disappointment of the nom cycle. Not sure I would have been able to vote for it over Godfather, but it would have been a tough one for me.

I think GWH belongs above all of the others on your list except maybe Groundhog's day. But I am basically OK with GWH being on the final 5 list. No one will be perfectly happy with any final 5 list.

Are people voting for Godfather I as a defacto vote for the series, or because they actually believe it was better than II?

Personally, I liked I better than II, but I have anecdotally found that most people like II better than I.
