Don't Dodger and Giant fans beat each other to death in parking lots?

Pretty sure that overrules any loud/annoying/object-throwing fans there may be around. Not that I have an affinity for anybody who does any of that shit but murderous fans probably win this award.

I am a HUGE Keith Foulke fan. I don't think he gets nearly the credit he deserves from Red Sox fans. That 2004 championship not only wouldn't have been possible without his herculean effort in the ALCS, he sacrificed his career to do it, and from what I understand, he knew he was.

Then they pull that "Johnny from Burger King" shit on him. Fuck Boston's media, the Red Sox front office and fuck their fans.

Agreed. His 99-04 run was pretty impressive. He had 5 seasons of 80+ innings and a 105 inning season. Papelbon never threw more than 70 innings in a season and Rivera had only two seasons of 80+ innings. He had 19 appearances in 2004 where he recorded 4 or more outs.

His '99 season is one of the few reliever seasons I'd seriously consider if I was voting for the CYA... well, if not Pedro.

Elimination game, tied up, bottom of the 11th, runner on third, awesome hitter at the plate.

I'd take the ball from Ubaldo Jiminez and give it to the reliever who's being considered for the Cy Young Award. That's just me, though.
It's so fitting that he was in there though.

When he came in during the 7th inning in that ACLS....that was the stuff of legends.

That doesn't get talked about nearly enough.

Two things.
1. Britton warmed up three times last night.
2. Hindsight is great. Here are quotes from you that explains the situation and possibly why the trigger was never pulled.

haha thanks for finding those, don't remember saying those

Based on the O's fans on here, they're just fine with his decision lol
I was definitely for Britton going in during the 11th and thought it was dumb to not put him in. After him, I would've used Hunter and Bundy. Duensing and Ubaldo would've been the last two guys left in the pen if it were my decision.

That's what they were saying last night on MLB network. Use your guys you been using out of the pen all year long who's used to this then if its necessary you go to a starter like Ubaldo

Ubaldo would've been my last choice as I would exhaust every option in my pen to try to have saved Ubaldo for game 1 against Texas if that were to have happened. Heck, I might've tried to even use Chris Davis if it came to it before Ubaldo.

Well this is pretty fucked...

Yup guys basically a sports reporter who played some ball himself apparently. TPD saying they have clear footage showing its him. His career and life as he knows it is over.

Overrated Texas team???? Didn't know baseball had rankings - there is an ESPN Power Poll which has the Red Sox #1 and Rangers #2 in the AL. Not sure how you can say the best record after 162 games is overrated. Neither your O's or Blue Jays have a chance against Texas.

Over the entire 2016 season, they scored eight runs more than they allowed. A ridiculous 36-11 record in one run games is what got them the best record in the AL. A case could be made that Seattle and Houston were better teams than the Rangers in 2016.

My opinion is that the Rangers are a better team than their pythag record suggests, but not as good as their actual record suggest. Somewhere in between, and definitely a good team. If I was going to seed the AL Playoff teams, it be Red Sox, Blue Jays, Rangers, Orioles, Indians (their rotation is FUBAR).

Anything can happen in the playoffs, so this very well could be the Rangers' year. The flip side of that is they could get swept out of the ALDS. We'll have to see. To say the Blue Jays have no chance against the Rangers is silly.

Well, because I love playoff baseball, I am disappointed this series only went three games. On the other hand, there's Lucroy, and I'm pleased that he'll be watching the Indians in the playoffs.

36-11 in one run games is ridiculously lucky. The Rangers were also 18-24 in blowouts (games decided by 5+ runs). They overperformed their pythag W-L (82-80) by 13 games, which is one of the biggest differentials of all time.

That's not to say they weren't a good team, but there's plenty of indicators that they overperformed.
