I truly hate that guy. I love this Orioles team, but Adam Jones is my least favorite in the entire lineup.
Even if he hits the game-winning HR or a big double it still is the wrong way to approach these ABs.

His selfish free-swinging OBP=BA is simply not good baseball.
His batting average is simply not high enough to justify it.

I have never seen a leadoff hitter that never walks, never takes pitches, and doesn't steal bases once on.

And Toronto has a horrible shitty bullpen. Take some fucking pitches and then eat up the bullpen later.

Something to keep in mind, the O's can throw their top relievers out there for multiple innings if they so choose. And those options are tier 1 relievers, the Jays don't have that big a window to score.
