how bad was that 5th innin at bat? 3-0 count with a runner at 3rd... swings at a border line strike and then pops up to shallow left... terrible.

Good call.

M"s still holding onto the top 20 in runs in MLB, which is very good for this year.

Almost back in the top 20 for AVG.

Getting sick of excellent pitching performances amount to squat.

Nothing short of Goldschmidt or Stanton is going to fix this.

I think Stanton is a pipe dream. The Marlins don't seem eager to give him up (not publicly anyway) and even if they were listening to offers, it's debateable whether the M's can give them what they want without raiding their system, which is something Zduriencik has said he won't do. I think the only realistic chance is if other teams become involved, giving Miami the bulk of what they're looking for and giving the M's the flexibility to go after another hitter and/or pitcher without depleting so much of their farm system that they can't fill other needs down the road.

The man refuses to walk. The 3 run 1st in LA the other day could have been worse if he would have just left ball 4 alone. Swung at it twice, fouling one off and popping the other up.

Why he gets the green light is beyond me. He's shown he does not want to walk.

He gets the green light cause they're fastball counts and he can destroy fastballs. He has almost no chance hitting breaking balls.

Yeah, well not when its a half foot outside.........but I digress. I guess your not supposed to assume your catcher who is good at managing a pitching staff can have a avg higher then 200

just wondering if he'll ever get back up to 95-98 where he was last year with the fast ball. just looks like a different pitcher out there.

Pretty sure I just saw Hart miss a fastball down the middle that didn't even hit 90. This joke needs to end now.

If we could start hitting the human pitching machine now, that would be great. Colon should not be fooling anyone. See ball, hit ball
