They'll run a big rotation to preserve the health of Lebron and AD. Everyone should get decent run during the season. Playoff rotation will be much tighter.

Obviously it’s early but so far so good on the Sixers goal of prying away Dame or Beal. Neither the Wizards nor the Blazers have done anything to improve their team’s chances to compete for the big prize. You could argue that they’re in a worse spot from where all this started. And the Sixers still control the Simmons chip they sorely need to make that deal happen. Additionally, Miami was a possible destination for both Beal and Dame and now it looks like they’ve made their choice to go with Lowry making the Heat less likely. Not too bad the way this has shaken out.

You’ve gotta think. Blazers haven’t done anything to entice him to stay. Maybe they’re working on something with McCollum to bring a better piece but that’s not likely or we would have heard leaks and such. He ain’t getting any younger. Not sure why he would rot there for another season before making the move.

I genuinely wonder if any of these guys will back out of the agreement. They couldn't have considered the level of pull the Lakers might have had and their roles vastly diminished.
