Good to see Melo come to LA. Offensively, he's gonna be a more dependable upgrade over Kuzma off the bench.

But I LOVE getting Malik Monk on a vet min. He was a big time scorer in college but never really found his way the first couple of years in Charlotte. The last two years though, he's really found himself as both a scorer and play maker. He's probably never gonna be a star like he projected to be in college, but he's the type of player that could win 6th Man of the Year one day if he keeps developing. And he's YOUNG. Which this team desperately needs right now.

And we've still got the mini-MLE to use. Great signings to make up for the pain of missing out on Gay and Mills

I like Monk’s potential and will piggy back to what you’ve said with this addition. It seems like the developmental work of young players in Charlotte is lacking. The change of scenery could be very beneficial for Monk.
