You can draft any player who played during the 1983 season.

So they could have played from 1974 - 1986 or from 1981 - 1993 as long as they played in 1983 you can draft them.

What if they were injured in 1983 but played before and after 83. Never heard of that sincerio before? Cough cough

Do we really want to do a "played" in 1983 like the 1977 baseball draft (which became a problem) or do we want a "under contract" in 1983 (would include guys who were on the roster and didn't play either due to injury or too far down the depth chart)?

It only became a problem for Ritz! How many guys can you come up with that played in 1982, 1984 but not 1983? If you come up with some decent ones I guess we can change it.
