I know, but I just love this kid (McCaffrey), and I would hate to see him with a division rival. I'll get over it! :gaah:

I think OT is the first, but not to reach; CB #2; LB #3; WR #4; S #5 - as far as ranking the priorities. Free agency will help to put needs in order.

Watched Washington destroy Stanford last night ... WR John Ross has some serious game breaking speed. Would love to add a player like that to take the top off the Defense. There's talk he run a 4.25 or there about; I wouldn't doubt it.

Awesome, Rey.

Here is way too early possible 2017 draft for the Birds;

1. Adoree Jackson, CB
2. Mike McGlinchey, OT
3. Corey Davis, WR
4. Vince Biegel, LB
4. Ethan Pocic, C.G
5. Tony Connor, S
6. Brian Allen, OL
7. Jahad Thomas, RB, Temple

Of course, this will change a lot by next April, especially after free agency. Just food for thought.

Way too early for Mocks Duke :) Jackson's a good one though ...

My guy Ryan Switzer already at 100 yards receiving on 8 grabs at the half against Florida State ... love that kid. Ohio State RB Curtis Samuel is another guy I've mentioned earlier in this thread whom I'd love to see as an Eagle ... love his game as a dual threat Back/Receiver; he's draft eligible if he wants to declare.

I know. I'm a classic draftnik. Now that we're on the right road, and may win a SB while I'm alive, I need to enjoy this season, but I can't help myself with the draft and all.

Loved what I saw from TJ Watt today in that Wisconsin game. Kid was all over the place.

The Louisville/Clemson Saturday night lived up to the hype - how do you guys feel about Tankersley, the CB on Clemson?

CB's are sooooo hit and miss... and usually misses. REALLY HARD TO FIND. I heard people raving about Peters from KC and he got ABUSED last night. Theres like 3 good CB's in the NFL it seems.

CB is the most maligned position in the NFL these days since it is a game so slanted to the offense on pass. Still....this is relative. You just keep working to upgrade the talent level. Schwartz has shown he can build a scheme to maximize what talent is there (Pitt game)

Just give me a physical CB that can get into the faces of OBJ, Dez and Desean and chuck them at the line without giving up the route. We saw what that's does to OBJ last night.

Vikings drafted Xavier Rhodes in the first round and then Waynes in the first round. And they have the best defense in the league. We are years behind that curve at CB.

Wings was right about Roby a couple of years ago, he would really good in green right about now. Peters was my guy last year, I was PISSED when Andy Reid of all people took him a couple of spots earlier - I think we need to start investing early in the draft, I don't think addressing it FA with a big name is a good idea - we've missed more than hit going that route over the last few years.

I've liked what I've seen from Tankersley so far, I have to go watch King (Iowa), Tabor (Florida), and Jourdan Lewis (smaller guy, but really talented) - three guys for me to keep an eye on as the season progresses. Tabor looks like a Schwartz kind of guy.

Yeah those guys look strong. Neither was great as a rookie though so you do have to have some patience. I wish we had had more patience with Eric Rowe.

I think Tabor, Humphrey, and Adoree Jackson go in the 1st round. Tank, and Lewis in the 2nd. As of right now anyway, I think.

The more I watch of Washington CB Sidney Jones ... the more I like. Kid's excellent when the ball is in the air.
