Pederson has never called plays. He is the worst candidate of the slew of candidates.
Disgusted!

You are incorrect. Your lack of facts is destroying your rationale.

....welp.

Here's to hoping we found the one good branch in the Andy Reid coaching tree.

Ron Rivera's team almost went undefeated. You guys are sure as fuck lacking a hell a lot of facts and knowledge.

Irony is that so many go completely gaga over whatever comes out of New England - even though AFAIK every single one of Bellichick's assistants has been a disastrous flame-out.

Reid tree includes Harbaugh and Rivera as most obvious successes. And for those whining about Harbaugh already being here when Reid came in, one very important aspect of a coach is recognizing talent that is already in the organization, rather than simply clean house and start from scratch by default (ironically something Kelly did with the players and the majority of the coaching staff, and for which he is villified by the very same fans).

If for instance Dave Fipp is fired, Roseman and the new HC need to be thrown out immediately.

...that's the same Ron Rivera that almost got fired 3 years ago. The same one who went 7- 8 and 1, last year.

There are seriously reports he may bring in Brad Childress as offensive coordinator.

Pettiness is more of a hybrid guy; would be a really good hire if we can get him.

Reid accepted Harbaugh as part of the hiring by Lurie and Banner. He did realize Harbaugh's talent, but he had to keep him as part of the deal.

I am hearing Reno Mahe as special teams coach, Marc Simoneau as LB coach, Na Brown coaching the wide receivers, LJ Smith at TEs, and Daniel Te'o Nesheim coaching the d-line. O line is unsettled but Hank "Honey Buns" Fraley is in the running...
Hahaha. That would be great--as much of a joke as today's announcement.

None of us really know what any of these guys can or can't do. ...
...including Pederson, because he hasn't done anything. His BIGGEST claim to fame and most significant achievement is being back up QB to Brett Favre. When he was QB coach here, how did we do (how did the QBs do?)? In KC, he could certainly have contributed to the game plan and turning Alex Smith into a marginally above average QB, but game management? As others have said, I'd feel better about this if he at least called plays.

Lightning doesn't strike twice... we were lucky with a no-name Andy Reid being hired. Will we be so lucky again.

I should have played the Powerball last night.

From Wiki...

Coaching career
High school
After his retirement, Pederson was hired as head football coach of Calvary Baptist Academy, a private, Christian high school in Shreveport, Louisiana.[9] Calvary was going into its second year as a program when Pederson signed on in March 2005.

Pederson was the head coach at Calvary for four years, and holds a 33-7 record in the regular season and an 8-3 record in the post-season. The Cavaliers were in the state playoffs all four years with Pederson as head coach. In 2007, he led the Cavaliers to the semi-finals and lost to State runners-up St. James Wildcats. He led the Cavaliers to their first District Title in 2007.

Professional
On January 29, 2009, Pederson was hired as the offensive quality control coach for the Philadelphia Eagles.[10] On February 8, 2011, he was promoted to quarterbacks coach, replacing James Urban, who was promoted to assistant offensive coordinator.[11] Under Pederson's guidance in 2011, the Eagles set a franchise record with 6,386 yards.[1] On January 11, 2013, Pederson was hired to serve as offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs.[12]

Alex Smith stinks ... they've done their best to to limit his mistakes though and have him play better than he is imo. The sign of good coaching is to realize what players are and are not capable of. Aside from winning despite Alex Smith, they also lost the guy their Offense was built around which was Jamal Charles ... yet they've succeeded with shmucks like Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware.

Lets hope he is nothing like Brad Childress or Pat Shurmur as a HC. lol. Cant believe anybody can be cool with this along with Howie picking the players.

Ugh. What a shame.

Pederson & Howie are both represented by Bob Lamonte.

How convenient. This is sickening.
