Nope what? You don't spend more that that on your phone?

Nope it isn't Nirvana for an NFL fan? I can pick and choose 4-6 NFL games (morning AND afternoon), record and watch in their entirety. Mind you I don't waste any of it on an SF game...

Or nope you don't think I could burn $120 of the Righteous Herb in a week?
Nope to the bolded if you looked hard enough. You know 'should I give a fuck'. It's good that you have the Sunday Ticket so when you jump off of the Cowboys bandwagon you don't get hurt. Are the Cards your next NFC team?

Oh well, I guess I didn't click to expand.......

Here's a smooch for your bruised feelings....

I am a realist. Dallas sucked this year. Who would argue?

I still watch all their games.

And I do suppose the Cards are in my NFC 2 slot.

No crime there though.

Back in the day when the real Super Bowl was fought out between Dallas and SF I found it hard to dislike the Montana/Young led 49ers team.

Aside from the year of "the Catch" I found it hard to not like the 49ers.

Did I mention I just bought a Redskins freezer mug and beach towel?

LOL! I'm a 9ers fan with no future in winning any rings in the near future. Care to join in our dismay?

There is a mighty long line-up of NFL teams that aren't going to win a Super Bowl before I die.

I suspect SF and Dallas are on that list.

Yeah not a big fan of the whole NFL only one day a week. I like that we have 3 of the 7 days with games being played. Throw in I would say the quality of the Thursday Night games improved dramatically this year. they went to most of them being divisional rivals and those games always seem to be much closer than people think. I could live without the ridiculous uniform changes they have made but otherwise I don't mind what we are seeing.

For Monday Night football I think the NFL and ESPN need to come together as it does seem like the NFL is giving ESPN some of the crappiest prime time games of the year. I think there are some better match ups they can put into those slots that would make it much more enjoyable to watch.

Agree but even though ESPN had some shitty matchups on papers, almost all of the MNF games were decided by one score

I'm glad to see that the current format is getting the most votes. I LOVE football, so the more days it's on the better. Adding Thursday night football was a very wise decision!

Only way to improve the TV Schedule is by adding games. Give double headers to both Fox and CBS every Sunday adds one game a week, I'd be more than happy if the played one Saturday game throughout the season, I know it takes away from college games but I don't watch them anyway, unless I just happen to be home sitting on the couch.

I could live w/out the Thursday night and the overseas games... I would be happy w/ Sun/Sun Night/Mon night games with a game every Saturday in December since College football is done for the part on Saturdays that month...

The expansion to Europe and possible Mexico is lame imo...

This is one of the reasons I love Week 17. It is the only week where there is a Double Header and both networks

I can take it or leave it on TNF.
My suggestions? Fewer preseason games with earlier practice (fewer injuries from players not in shape)
Televise the "practice games" They are voluntary and teams can do what's best for their players.
Put all of the bye weeks in the middle of the season......

I think these moves won't cost the league money and will help the players....
Thoughts?

Sunday night prime time and Monday night prime time are plenty... Thursday is just a stretch, not safe for players to be unhealed for another game so soon ... I think if anything if you gonna keep Thur night football then arrange the schedules where teams are coming off there bye week... something

I've listened to a lot of players talk about Thursday Night games after they retire. Quite a few of them said that they actually liked it. Practices were easy that week as the coaches would let them heal up and the game plans were a lot simpler to learn. Throw in then they felt like it was like getting a 2nd Bye Week at some point during the season.

Now I do know players now in the league complain but they seem to complain about everything. I would trust players actually out of the league speaking honestly than those still in it.

Now the problem with the idea of arranging it with them coming off their bye week is it would eliminate quite a few Thursday Night games. The NFL right now has Bye Weeks only in weeks 4-11. So that means you could have a Thursday game in week 1, 5-12. So that eliminates about half the Thursday games. To me these players need to realize that these Thursday games help pay their salary. It brings a huge boost to how much the Salary Cap is so that they can get paid. Heck ESPN bought the rights to MNF for $15.2 billion. That is some huge TV revenue for the NFL that shows up in just how much the Cap has gone up over these last few years.

Thursday Night is just a bad product. Personally, I believe the way the league is set up, and the size of the players are today, it would be best if it were just Sunday games and that's it. Get rid of both TNF and MNF. But $ trumps all, so I expect to see more days get games.

How were Thursday games a bad product?

Week 1--Patriots win 28-21. Decently close game
Week 2--Broncos come back from 14 down to beat a heated rival
Week 4--Ravens win in overtime over the Steelers
Week 5--Colts win by 7 in a game that was 3 points going into the 4th quarter
Week 10--Bills win by 5 in a very important division game
Week 11--Jaguars have a 4th quarter come back to beat the Titans
Week 12--Thanksgiving Football nothing quite like it
Week 13--Packers have the hail mary pass to win a ridiculous game
Week 14--Cardinals win a close one against the Vikings
Week 16--Overtime win for the Raiders

So 10 of the 16 weeks had very good games for us to watch. I would say that is pretty good product.

Depends on what your definition of 'good' is. I don't want to see a half-assed product, and given that every team gets a game, you're getting a lot of crappy teams. Sometimes the matchups are between two garbage units, and I couldn't care how that game ends up....I'm not interested at all in watching a couple of 4-12 teams 'battle' into OT or whatever.

Thursday night games are here to stay. NFL fans just want to watch games. Even in this poll fans are voting yes to Thursday games. Best just accept it.
