We've seen this for years...
The Cutler haters: still don't like this team- and try to find reasons "they still suck" And are down playing the past two Cutler lead wins. Saying things like: "Beat bad teams" "got lucky with unforced errors by other team" "blaming the injuries of other teams players" and "still inconsistent". (*they can't blame Jay for the past two weeks so they are reaching)

The Realist Fans: are pleasantly surprised and taking each game as they come... and actually giving Jay credit and looking for positives where they might not be there yet. (which is good...glass half full is more fun)

The Jay Fans: are dancing in the street and can't point out Jay's good play enough. (Such is the way when we've been beaten down for so long) They (we) are probably a little too high on the possibilities of this team, but are ready for the return and inevitable "blame Jay" on the next loss. It's a guarantee it's coming.

That reminds me of the guy at work who patted himself on the back for not calling off work the last six weeks when he has called 20+ days so far...... As a co-worker said," What? Are we suppose to excuse the last 12 years you've been calling off?

Are you kidding? This board has been majority Anti-Cutler/Everything is Shit/Tank for the Draft mentality... for quite awhile now. With the exception of myself and a one or two others. And yet now that some people are coming around to the idea that Jay's not the devil/they could be decent... you come up with this bullshit of "out of the box thinking"? Could it just be that you were wrong all along...and you simply can't handle or admit that. <ding, ding, ding!! That's it!!
I have no problem with people who disagree... but I'm still struggling to understand what the hell is your overall motivation for writing what you do?
When you read some other people you can see what and why they are saying what they do. Myself- I'm always looking for positives...and ways they can build to success.

It is not as exhausting as reading "Its not Jays fault, its not Jays fault". Yes, exactly, this board has been the majority anti Cutler, but the question was WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOARD? Dont you get it, you ran them off, they gave up, now the place sucks!!!!!!! This is your victory, a shit board!!!

Every bad pass is the receivers fault, wrong route, broke off route too soon, did not run straight enough path to get to the ball, slowed down, did not get a good release. If you never give him the blame for losing games, why should he get credit for winning games? Its just too much.

For everyone that wanted Brandon Marshall gone, why was there no facepalms for signing Ratliff or MacDonald? You either accept head cases or you should want nothing to do with them. There is no case by case, they fucked up, there are hundreds waiting.

Not my choice how you want to read what I post. At minimum you guys should be pissed there are not more smarter people than me around so you can tell them they are wrong too. Blame the entire defense, blame the line, blame the receivers, but god dammit that was all Jay on that final drive. Ask a simple question of what about that pass he missed Forte on to extend a drive that would have put them ahead and possibly running away with the victory? nothing. Its almost like some want him to fuck up along the way so he can be the super hero at the end.

I still hear a few "WE'RE GOODS" when he is barking out the plays, just to hand the ball off so Forte runs into the back of his linemen. What happened there? Why were we good for a zero gain? anyone? anyone? was not on him that the line didnt block? Its on him for running the play when there was an audible. Which way is it?

So keep the little circle jerk going since we are never gonna win in the playoffs or against the packers with cutler and keep running people away that want to keep the forum going.

This board lacks objectivity on both sides of "the argument". There are some Cutler lover's like ATF that hang from his sack even when he sucks bawls and then there are some on the other side that refuse to applaud him when deserving.

Everyone can agree that for whatever reasons, Jay and the Bears have not got it done, but to pin it all on Jay, or to completely alleviate him of any blame is equally ridiculous.

One thing is certain, the Chicago Bears wasted Jay's "prime" years, with sub par o-lines and shitty WR's and shitty drafts. Wasted a great D to go along with that too.

Another thing that is certain, is that as of RIGHT NOW, Jay is hands-down our best option. The division on this board to me then, is whether you root for the team to win or lose. It's that simple, really.

It is not in my nature to even think it. I can't root for them to suck. Therefore, I root for Jay to succeed. When he does, I enjoy it. When he doesn't, I don't. It's a simple recipe, I know, but that's about all the energy or heart I can really invest in it.
