That you think Newmans was 10 times worse pretty much highlights your own bias in this situation and makes your opinion pretty invalid IMO.

Newman is at fault, Larson has a right to be upset. But there are lots of other factors involved that you for some reason want to ignore while citing 1 former drivers opinion as being that of "EVERYONE".

Oh come on, Newman went down on the apron full throttle knowing he would wash up and knowing the outside car would save him and honestly your opinion isn't worth a hill of beans either..... so

Everyone.... Wallace, DW, Jarret.... former crew chiefs, Petree, Hammond, McReynolds..... they all said the same damn thing!!!!

Absolutely. There's a lot of reasons not to like Brad Keselowski. And I don't blame Gordon for being upset. But under the circumstances, Brad's only way to advance was to win, he had a shot at the lead, he went for it, Gordon came down and cut down his tire. Racing incident when the stakes were high.

I don't like how Brad tried to ignore Gordon and walk away that resulted in the Harvick shove and then brawl, but I don't have a problem with what he did on the track.

As the same for Newman... Hey, I'm glad Newman is in, it gives Childress a shot at another title!! And as anyone could see, he did what he had to do to get in....

I said Newman was at fault and that Larson had a right to be upset, but to say it was 10 times worse and to not take into account the other factors is just wrong.

Neither were "racing incidents".

So, 3 former champions, 2 former championship crew chiefs and another excellent crew chief all back Keselowski's move.

I'll take their word over an online racer.

I'm pulling for Harvick obviously, but I'm an RCR fan at heart, so I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Newman win the title.

And the word is that most drivers who race against Brad don't respect him.

Had Gordon not been the victim, I'm sure he would have said he would have done the same thing given the circumstances.

Because they were both 1 driver purposely abusing the other driver. A racing incident is when 2 drivers just make contact incidentally as part of hard racing etc. In both cases, both drivers knew exactly what they were doing and what the consequences would likely be and did it anyway.

All of them said, they both knew what was at stake, there was a hole and with BK having fresher tires and momentum he had to make the move and go for the win.... Jarret went onto say that if anyone with a pulse says they wouldn't of done it, is just striaght up lying!!!!

He hasn't done anything to earn their respect. There's a lot of reasons to not like Brad. I don't like Brad for numerous reasons. But where he went wrong at Texas was on pit road, not on the race track.

I don't like how he plays victim when something happens to him, but he won't take blame when he does something wrong. Gordon did have a right to be upset, and Keselowski did owe Gordon an ear. Him ignoring Gordon and trying to turn away was where he was in the wrong at Texas.

Which is funny since that amount of a "hole" is basically open on every lap and every corner entry, and yet it doesn't ever seem to happen.

They dont respect him because he shows no remorse for his actions.

I don't think Brad Keselowski is smart enough to think that far ahead, I really don't think he had any intentions of making contact with Gordon.

How about, both were aggressive moves with the season on the line?

This is the first year of this championship format. It probably won't be the last time. Had it been on lap 20, I might agree, but on a GWC, with your season on the line, you go for it.

It's because of what he does on the track.

Denny Hamlin: Most drivers don't respect Brad Keselowski - Roanoke Times: Nascar

Hamlin said the consensus among his peers was Keselowski didn’t have enough space to attempt to pass Gordon in the closing laps of Sunday’s race.

All them "online racers".

There is not.... Johnson rode the lead on the yellow line....

gordon went up to keep up his rpm's and then started to come down the track as BK hit the hole. If he was so worried about the hole he should of kept his car on top of JJ, pinned him down, and screwed up his exit. (An old Earnhardt move) But he didn't he washed up to keep up the rpm's and Brad had his car in there when he decided to come down.

Why should Gordon be worried about a hole that didn't actually exist?

And I would hardly call pinching a guy an old Earnhardt move. Everyone does that.
