Gordon was my dream pick, but he went way higher than I thought he would.

Can't say I blame him. Minnesota is maybe the least desirable team in the league to play for. It's too bad too, the fans can and would be crazy for the team if management gave them something to cheer for!

Why would the Sixers take Embiid? Their top pick last season (Noel) missed all of last season due to injury. Those would appear to be two very fragile big men.

So much for the commitment to defense. Overpaying Channing Frye would just solidify the idea that the Suns don't care about defense.

Why would the Sixers take Embiid? Their top pick last season (Noel) missed all of last season due to injury. Those would appear to be two very fragile big men.

Embiid is a complete package at center if he can stay healthy. Noel is a defense first athlete who will need time to develop an offensive game. Theoretically, Noel could slide over to the PF spot when both are healthy. Embiid will not be playing till after the allstar break, if at all, this season.
