I wanted Lock, but I also wanted Rosen, so wtf do I know. I was never sold on Haskins. Ohio St. just isn't known for producing QBs.

I wanted Hollywood Brown at 15 or even Lock. I'm no scout. What soured me on picking Haskins was Cooley who is usually right saying he was a complete project and wouldn't take him in the 1st.

Then word leaked that Dan and Bruce pissed all over Kyle's draft board and made them take him.

Once they took him, of course I had no choice but to hop on board. I don't think he is a lost cause. It is way to early for that. The Skins have to find a coach that can build an offense that compliments his skill set.

Look at what RG3 is without Kyle. Coaching matters. Fingers crossed for the kid, because we all know if he sucks it will take Dan and Bruce about four years and three head coaches to admit it.

I think in order to take a step forward you must take a step backwards in this case. Let him start ASAP. He is most likely going to suck. Let him start next year and he will most likely suck then too and skins could be primed to draft a legit 1st round talent at QB in 2021.

I think Snyder might be capable of calling out a bust 1.5 years into it? From what we have seen so far Haskins has the chance to not only be bad but be really really bad.

you didnt provide anything just ramblings with no visual evidence , next

I literally posted scouting reports. I apologize, I'll see if I can find a schoolhouse rock version of the point I'm making to help you better understand next time.

Just because you don't "see" something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Kind of like how bills are passed in congress.

I was too young to have seen Aikman or Bradshaw. I do vaguely remember Alex Smith being brutally bad though.

The point is that I haven't even seen Haskins make a single play that would instill confidence in him. I think he had a couple decent touch passes in preseason but he even looked terrible overall against vanilla defenses.

Confidence in him at this point to be a franchise QB could not be lower

OK...so in post 64 you bring up Akili Smith (1999), Cade McCown (1999), and Jamarcus Russell (2007). You stated you had seen them under the lights. Those are your words.

Now you claim to only vaguely remember Alex Smith who was drafted in 2005, 6 years after Smith and McNown.

Akili Smith- first three appearances, he was 18/37, 186 yards, 0 TDs, 2 picks, and 3 fumbles.

My point is you make up shit and then get angry when people call you out. My bigger point, in bringing up HOFers who looked worse, is it is too early to worry about Haskins.

So the problem with Haskins is all on Haskins?
Why is anyone even saying there is a problem with Haskins? Other than being raw, he is right were one should expect him to be given his experience. He may bust. He may not (if he is handled correctly which is a big stretch).

Skins2021 could answer that better than I can probably. I'm far more down on the team Haskins plays for, the coaches coaching or not coaching him and the idiot ass0s who call the shots in the front office.

can only read it if you’re a member
that sucks . its worth being a member because you see the break downs

what it shows is that he and goff had the same issues and how mcvay dealt with it by simplifying things

the next clip i showed shows examples of his pre snap issues in the run and pass games

it also shows the elbow thing aikman talked about but it also shows that haskins didnt feel like he could step up and didnt follow through correctly
