ha, you figure that out, let me know.

actually, my middle kid made a great deal of improvement this year. really not much to do but just keep throwing a ball at them. I used a small bean bag type ball (about the size of a golf ball) without a glove, so he could get used to the idea of squeezing and catching it. then i used a tennis ball with the glove so he wouldn't get hurt as much on the misses. finally getting to the baseball.

Bean bag type ball? Jerry Rice's dad used to throw him bricks to catch.

Step your game up, son.

my kids are pretty average. they were running big in the first few years but slowed down. my wife is short, i'm 6'4", so we aren't really sure where they will end up. If i were to guess, based on my FIL, brothers, and myself, most of their growth should occur in 7th & 8th grade. one of them will be 6'4" and the other 2 will probably be around 6'.

Back when I coached baseball, I made a set of "wooden" baseball gloves. They are, simply, 1/4" plywood cut into the shape of a ball glove (one of the old timey gloves). Drill holes in it so you can put shoelaces in it and secure it onto the kids glove hand.
Hit slow rollers for them to field with the wooden glove on. They have to use the other hand to trap the ball onto the wood glove.
10 minutes at the start of practice every day should help teach them how to get in front of the ball, get low to field, and hand placement to hold the ball into the glove.
Once they get used to it, you can take infield wearing them to get them doing it at a faster pace.

My brother was 6'1" by the time he was in 7th grade. I was only i think 5'11" at that time but was 6'2" by my sophomore year i think. So far all my kids are heads above their class mates, quite literally at least a full head lol, except for the other freaks like them you see most the class at or around a certain height then the 2 or 3 freaks :D lol it always cracks me up to see class photos

You plan on losing a lot of weight fast.

100 lbs in a year is only 2 a week which is a safe normal weight loss

however,

step 1: give up sugar
step 2: reduce bread consumption next to nothing
step 3: stop eating after 7 (thinking about doing a 16:8 fast)
step 4: hit the gym
step 5: take my kids for a run every night
