Last night's game is a perfect example of this...

The Rockets bench played 52 minutes, the Warriors bench played 53.

The Rockets bench scored 33 points.

The Warriors bench scored 4 points.

The moral of the story is clear...

The Warriors need to play Swaggy P more.

They showed a graphic (I think it was this morning on ESPN) that showed that in the first 2 rounds, the Warriors averaged something like 8 or 9 direct iso plays per game.

In the current series, they are averaging something like 22-23 iso plays per game.

That's just not how the Warriors play.

Seems like something the Rockets are doing defensively is causing this and the Warriors haven't figured out how to adjust to it yet.

Yeah we have to give HOU some credit on DEF, especially on ball. You touched on it...not how the Warriors play...thus far I think Dantoni is winning the job on the side lines. We've seen the crisp ball movement and in rhythm shots off it in two games from the Warriors...these last two games it seems like they are a lot more iso oriented....KD is going to get his points...imo trying to take advantage of matchups with him is a mistake...the other players are standing around a lot more and that doesn't give him many assist options and he is a willing passer.

Kerr has to get back to GS basketball.

It’s unfortunate, but I have noticed over the years that golden state tends to get the benefit of having the other teams best player or second best player hurt. It’s not their fault, it just seems to happen that way.

Last years WCF was a joke because pachulia did his clumsy idiot thing. The first title GSW won, I seem to remember every single opponent having some kind of injury trouble. Granted, it’s late in the year and guys get hurt, but the warriors seem to get more injury luck than most teams and it’s unfortunate because the warriors are already so talented and they don’t need to be facing these watered down teams.

I think Houston would’ve won this series with a healthy Paul. If he can’t play or he’s severely limited, GSW is going to get bailed out and coast to the championship.

But do honestly think Houston wins both those games if GS had Iggy?
