If we all knew what we are talking about, would JD have a job?lol
And is Calhoun worth what we have to give up?I can if he can be dealt. But he is owed $21,000,000 in 2019 and 2020. Not sure who will take that on. And if we have to pay part of his salary to make the trade how much do we want to give of that $21,000,000.
Suppose Odor goes down and does well and at least one of Profar and IKF do well. Then we have more proof that Odor can hit AAA pitching and no proof that he can do better up here long term. What do you do for 2019 then? Do you give the job back to Odor and let the other guys sit?
When he went down in 2015 he hit .352.I don't recall Odor being good in the minors, but I could be forgetful.
But if your best case scenario comes true, I won't care so much who stays/starts and who doesn't. I do know it would be a great position for us to be in.
And keep in mind too, that if EA comes back, plays well, and we feel really confident Profar can handle SS, maybe he comes back into the trade play. Not suggesting/recommending anything.
He tore it up in 2013. That was when I noticed him. He was leading the league in doubles in a spacious ball park in Myrtle Beach and hitting over 300 then was called up to Frisco and in around 30 games again hit over 300 with 8 doubles, 2 triples and 6 HRs. Sad thing is in 2016 with the Rangers he hit .271 with 33 doubles and 33 HRs. Would love to see that Odor again.I don't recall Odor being good in the minors, but I could be forgetful.

He was our #8 prospect in 2013 and our #1 prospect in 2014.

Aren't we all. lolOK....OK.....like I said, "I could be forgetful." ha ha ha
Sure hope he's not here next season.Yeah my hopes for Moore have been dashed. Nice guy, too. Shame.
His natural position is that of a MIF. He started catching in 2016.Is IKF natural position catcher? The reason I ask, someone mentioned - believe it was yesterday - they wondered if he'd be our starting catcher next season. Darn good question, and I'm sorry I didn't give ya a like when it was posted. But we need some stability, and pop from behind the plate which we're really missing from our two headed monster back there now.
Pitching has been the name of their game.STRANGE: I just noticed we're only starting 2 guys today hitting under .200 and the Indians have SIX.
