I would also argue the FO has NOT done enough to improve our DL prior to the draft since it really needs a surge of talent outside Allen & Ioanidis. If we only add Vea or Payne, it won't be enough imo. Had we signed Hankins and Fitz was available at 13, I would say go for it. Hankins may come after the draft but we cannot assume that and must address the trenches first. Heck, had we signed Hankins, I probably wouldn't mind Edmunds at 13 either to upgrade our ILB position. Foster becomes quality depth as well. Let's see how this shakes out...

I have said a few times, we need two more quality players in the D-line rotation.

So even if we sisgned Hankins, I still wanted them to draft Payne or Vea.

If we draft one of them, I still hope they try to sign Hankins after the draft.

Aside from Allen and Ionidis, the D-line is made up of guys who should be backups/rotational players. Give me three studs, and four rotational guys and we got a real line.

Allen, Payne or Vea, and Hankins would work for me. With Ionidis, Lanier and take your pick of Hood, and the McNuggets and I think we got something to work with.

i am not going to run and hide if he does succeed . i will own it but i doubt he makes the NFC title game this year and more likely we are 3rd place in the NFC east at 6-8 wins max

no dodging. AIF AS wins a playoff game that right there would be an upgrade. IF we don't make the playoffs and has a good stat year like KC has done, you cant bash the trade or Allen.
