Again, I'm sorry for mucking up the thread with this nonsense.

It's not about having dissenting opinions.

We don't all have to agree.

It's all the unnecessary trolling and then not being able to take when it gets done to you.

You can't be thin skinned and a troll at the same time.

Apologies to everyone else though...
Exactly, talking shit is half the fun here but then you can't be a baby when someone does it to you

Agree.

I just didn't want to make it uncomfortable for anyone else.

Tons of LOL in this thread. Over valuing players is hilarious.

Yeah, I mean, I understand to a point why a couple of my fellow Lakers fans are high on Ingram and Kuzma. I'm high on them too.

But we are talking about a proven top 5, possibly top 3 player in the league who is still young vs. guys who have shown potential.

Is there a chance that one or both of them could eventually be better than Kawhi and the Lakers would end up regretting making a trade like that? Sure.

But, if it were actually proposed, odds are that the Lakers would be more likely to regret turning it down.

Not even if the Lakers threw in Luol Deng? :dhd:
I have to tell you that if they threw in Luol Deng - I know I would pull the trigger in on that deal - What makes Leonard attractive is that free agents would be prepared to play as of right now with him and with Kuzma, Ingram - you still have to wait another year - I wouldn't want to pull the trigger though Until I measured the success with free agents. if the first thing the Lakers did was nail Cousins or Paul George and then SA called and wanted that deal - then hell yes - you suddenly have two of three needed now.

I do partly agree with Shaqdaddy though - We don't know how good Kuzma and Ingram can become. They said Kuzma would be this good either. I am one to gamble on future long term possibilities, but either one can punish you like your kids when they want your money

The Lakers should definitely throw in Deng. And the Spurs should throw in Dejounte Murray just to balance the trade out in case Kuzma becomes Karl Malone.

Murray would be a great piece if the Lakers are not planning to re-sign Isaiah Thomas - but honestly I think that with Deng in that picture(which he won't be under any circumstances), I think the Lakers would have to throw in one of the others like Ennis or Hart. For the Spurs - they would be doing a miniature rebuilding if Leonard decides that he wants out of SA. If the guy is really happy and just has not healed yet - then The Spurs will not be interested in my opinion. My entire thought from the beginning was based on those guys on ESPN suggesting that the Spurs wants to trade Leonard -
