I disagree. I ignore people if I find myself wasting time replying to their trolling attempts. It declutters my alerts on this website so I don't have to pay any attention to those trolls. Face it, some people just aren't worth the time to reply to. I actually have you on ignore for some reason I can't even remember. You can still read ignored content, there's a link on the page for it.
