It was sad watching him pitch in 2019. The only way I see him making the roster is if he suddenly reinvents himself, which he didn't seem willing to do with the Mariners.
Maybe going to an organization that won't be giving him the royal treatment - pun intended - will be a huge wake up call for him and he changes something, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Other players seem to be able to reinvent themselves after leaving the Mariners organization so it's definitely possible. We'll see I guess, but honestly I really couldn't care less if he makes the team or not. It was fun a fun run in Seattle for sure, and I appreciate what he did here, but now he's gone and it really doesn't matter to me what he does now.

LOL. This interview is so typical of an interview with an athlete. They never answer the question asked. They never really say anything insightful.
