Great season to be a WC in the AFC.

With the Texans loss, as it stands now, one of the WC's will be playing a Schaub-less Houston, and the other Denver.

A Ravens win tonight would give them less of a reason to play Week 17. A loss only guarantees they have something to play for come Week 17.

Additionally, with a Chargers win today, it would put them at 7-7. Assuming the Chargers have the tie-breaker over us (I'll look into this shortly), a Chargers and Oakland win next week along with a Bengals loss, I BELIEVE guarantees we miss the playoffs (as the Chargers and Oakland play each other Week 17).

Just messing with the playoff generator -- If the Ravens lose tonight and the Steelers win tomorrow, the Steelers are up one game in the standings. The Steelers have an easy win next week (home against the Rams), leaving the Ravens to hope that they win out and the Steelers lose on the road against the Browns in week 17. Under that scenario, I don't see them playing their best against us. We win out and we're in.

All bets off if we lose next week.

Chargers also have a tough game next week -- Road game in Detroit with Detroit needing to win.

Even if the Steelers are up 1 game going into Week 17, both teams play at 1:00, so you can bet the Ravens are going to try to handle business on their own end.

Detroit needs 1 more win to lock up a WC, so we'll probably see their best effort next week as they play GB Week 17.

If the Steelers don't lose tonight the division race is over....they finish with St Louis and Cleveland......
