i have been saying that for about 10 years or so :suds:

Great & you would be correct. Guess what? It doesn't matter since the picks are primarily up to Snyder & his puppets. Since he obviously does not care about the team then it is anyone's guess who they will select. I assume it will be whoever is the sexiest pick available.

id trade 3 1sts and a 2nd for a new owner

I would throw in the entire current team & gladly sacrifice a few seasons if it guaranteed that we would be done with this scumbag forever.

Odds look good to draft 4th or 5th. We're currently the only team with 3 wins. There are 5 teams with 2 wins, but they play each other 3 total times. So if we lose out, we finish no worse than 5th. With a little luck, 3rd. 1st overall is a remote possibility but would take some luck.

There is still a lot of info to gather regarding talent and character from games and the combine but I'd assume the 1st overall pick would land us a decent 1st round pick and several other picks. I can't see anyone worthy of going #1 for US at this time.

The top ranking players according to the awesome Kiper seem to play DE which we could use. Hell we could use anyone. He has 4 DE's, 2 OT's, 2 QB's, 1 WR & 1 RB in his top 10. I would like to build up our o-line but to improve as a team you take the best BPA. However given the positions listed I don't care as much as who is ranked where in the top 10 I see a bigger need for us with OT, DE & QB but wouldn't take either QB. So that leaves us with OT & DE and I would take BPA out of those 2 positions. Even if the #1 WR falls to us I don't see our team improving if we cant block for our qb to stay up right to get that WR the ball. I know I said to improve you take BPA but I also think you have to look at your team needs and evaluate it differently sort of like a collaboration of both.

Sometimes it takes luck to make a franchise... like Indy sucking when Peyton Manning came out, then tanking one season when Andrew Luck comes out. Contrast that to when Houston has the first overall pick, and the best prospect is David Carr or Jevedon Clowney. Thats a huge difference in impact to a team, getting a legit franchise QB vs a middling QB or an unhealthy (thus far) DE.

Being lucky and having the first overall when the top guy is a real stud can go a long way. Call it the anti Kwame Brown syndrome.

We need to build both sides of the line of scrimmage so therefore I want OL or DL

Watching the Red Zone Channel and rooting for teams like Oakland and Jacksonville is what is making my Sundays tick these days. It's kind of fun in a pathetic sort of way

You take the best value available. End of story.

The only position I would drop in that statement is WR.
