This was just one of those things I wanted to be wrong about. PLD trade with the maybe I'm missing something. No plan to address the goaltending, and went with McLlelan's boy Talbot for a cool $1 milly. Pheonix Copley tandem. Seemed doomed from the start

I'd say fire Blake first and foremost. No idea what to do with PLD. Fiala not all the visible this game either. If he buries that early chance, maybe different story. PLD just a bunch of crappy penalties. At least absolutely get your money's worth on these penalties and get ejected or something. Moore struggling this game for sure. Danault having a nightmare game, especially on defensive coverage. Byfield had a big play to setup Kings second goal but not having a great game. This is a poor matchup for Kopitar. Every one of the Kings defensemen are overwhelmed. Andersen struggling. Roy burned backdoor. Doughty actually made some big plays defensively, but he seems overwhelmed as well. Spence okay, but lacks footspeed to keep up with these guys it seems. I actually thought Englund played okay. Couple of hits. Sort of on board with the "if you're gonna be slow, at least be big".

Lizzotte-Lewis can't hang. Too small overall.

Arvidsson is involved, but man this has been at least back to back years where if he just buried his big chance, maybe the games are different. He's undersized, but he's involved, so I can't hate too much. Just frustrating because he missed the breakaway, and Edmonton turns around and makes it 3-0 on the same shift.

Just hoping to not get swept right now because this team looks somehow worse than the versions we've seen the last two years.

That's what I've said, 99 points vs 104 isn't the issue. This team is worse than the last 2 years team. No heart, no balls.

Last shift the Oiler didn't even come close to Talbot after the save to start anything, that tells you what you need to know. They know they have this.

Saddest part is Oilers have yet another 3 PP goals. How do you go three straight years and get worst on the penalty kill. It's hilarious to think Kings PK they say is one of the tops in the league, but when you watch, they just stay so stationary. Like sure, against the Ducks, Sharks, Coyotes, MAYBE that works a better percentage....

How the F is this game 6-4. Kings just making this game look way closer than it is.

Nurse is $9.5 million or whatever of terrible, I almost think he got that contract because he's black. He sucks. Ceci, he has been railed since he was a Senator, he just isn't that good either. Yet these two somehow shut down LA.

Man I am so frustrated, I didn't expect them to win but this was an ass kicking. 43 SOG? That's not all on Talbot.

You'd think they've been here before, they look like complete amateurs.
