ok. let me ask you this, If Daniels wasn't a mobile Qb would it even be a debate right now?

It's really more based on projections of the player. In today's NFL, pocket passers tend to stick longer than running QB's. Maye's projection moving forward will look more like Justin Herbert. I see Jayden Daniel's projection moving forward more like Jaylen Hurts but, with more pocket Prescence. Now you have to make the pick what best fits the strength of the player and fit for the team's offensive vision.

I agree. Daniels has put up Joe Burrow passing numbers at LSU and he can run like Lamar Jackson. If he is the total package, then it's a no brainer. Lamar Jackson wasnt the passer that Daniels was and look at him now. Its a really tough call unless they think Maye can process better and that would be why he is the favorite going in.

I prefer Daniels. He looks confident in the pocket, out of the pocket, has good accuracy, can make throws outside the numbers, can make throws downfield and can kill you with his legs. He is my #1 QB. I like him over CW.

Charlie Campbell who writes for Walter Football says he knows the Skins prefer Caleb and Jayden over Maye.

Also went on to say he knows teams that prefer Jayden and Maye over Caleb.

Take it for what it's worth. Campbell has scouts that write for him now, that used to be in the Skins building. Don't kill the messenger.

Yea but I have concerns about that he was taking RG3 type hits and he has a slim frame on top of his age he has Mediocre velocity. Can sometimes struggle driving the ball into tight windows. Inconsistent accuracy to the short and intermediate areas, especially if not throwing on time.

Went back and watched a lot more Daniels tape. I will admit @countryroads316 I saw a lot of pretty deep passes that his receivers had to stop and wait on or even come back to. Also saw passes over the middle that just lacked that zip you want to see from a top notch QB.
