Was wondering how folks feel about the trade at this time. I was for trading him prior to the trade so I think it was genius. I could see Russell was declining little by little and think the time had come to cash in while he still had good value.

Obviously I think it was a stroke of genius because it was my idea.

I'll wait until the end of the season before making the call. Certainly Russ hasn't looked good so far. And if this is really how he will play for the rest of the season then clearly it was a grate trade.

It was a stroke of genius to trade Wilson when they did and had we all not been such Bias fans we might have noticed Wilsons sub 60% completion percentage in 5 of his last 9 games and 3 of his last 4. We all assumed it was rust and/or he wasn't fully healed yet but to be honest had we ever seen that type of rust from Wilson? no we really had not. Wilson just doesn't or didn't throw sub 60% games and when he did they were VERY rare but became common place last season. The flags were there and many of us including myself ignored them and brushed them off.

Not sure about Wilson but that coach in Denver sure seems like shit. So many bad calls now.

I predict he's canned before week 8.

I said it was but I think his struggles are......

1-He is getting used to a new offense and players.

2-Hackett is a straight up fucking moron (like his dad maybe?)......he had some brain dead coaching decisions in the Seahawks game and his decision on 4th and 1 last night to throw the ball? :L

3-He could be on a serious decline but I think he's on a slight decline but it's magnified with him learning a new offense and Hackett's bad coaching. Think he's better in season 2 and maybe even this season since it's still early, but Hackett's coaching is so bad we may not notice if he improves.

Well that's the thing about new hires at HC, they are busts more often then not and a lot time are spectacular busts.

Geno has played better so far but I certainly don't think he's going to maintain his level of play......and it's in Seattle's best interest if he doesn't. They can get Bryce Young or CJ Stroud.

All this could be true, but Russell was in a decline even as a Seahawk.

Genius but should have been done earlier.

Just think where we would be now with Josh Allen at QB

I agree.

But on the other hand. Why ruin a good thing?

arguably, they did it at exactly the right time and got a ridiculous return. especially if that pick ends up being top 10.

It would be fitting for Geno to play lights out the whole season and screwing the team out of a top 5 pick then going back to suck mode. He can't lose for winning and cant win for losing. lol
