Green just showed his basketball IQ brilliance and stupidity all in one play. After getting a steal, he pulls up to burn clock instead of getting the easy lay up (SMART). He then proceeds to dribble into the corner around halfcourt getting himself trapped and forcing us to call our last TO (DUMB). I'm not hating on him, I just found that sequence comical

THANK YOU. Pulling out of a wide open layup is a MORONIC play. Why waste one second when you can score 2 easy points? These announcers know nothing about anything. I pray that Greenberg isn't telling them to do this.

If I were surprised, I wouldn't be so pissed. It's expected so much now that I'm asking myself why I still get so pissed off.

I actually expected them to take the lead earlier when we stopped scoring and they scored like 3 straight possessions. It really blows my mind how these guys are college basketball players and they think it's smart to pull out of a wide open layup to get fouled. That is not smart basketball. Not in the least bit. The few seconds you burn pale in comparison to the free points you get on the layup.
