I'm sorry West but, Whodafuc cares at this point about Utley. Whether he plays or not.....it doesn't matter....why should he get the luxury and sit out the rest of the season. If he gets hurt between now and the last game.....oh well..... It's Franco's turn next season

Utley has been toast for sometime and it was dumbass Manuel that kept him around along with brain-dead. Franco is going to be playing alot by default because Sandberg is going to force the issue. New managers usually get rid of the old manager's guys which would be Utley, Howard, Ruiz, and JRol and bring his guys like Asche, Franco, Rupp, and others. But freakin' brain-dead screwed the pooch by insisting on keeping them around long beyond their utility of any stretch of the imagination with completely insane contracts.

If the dumbass owner is dumb enough to let brain-dead do these absolutely idiotic deals, then he deserves to pay a guy like Utley ungodly amounts of money to sit because his flippin knees are so bad he can barely walk. Where is Andrew Bynum when you need him? Oh that's right, he is playing in CLEVELAND!!!
