Technically, neither did Sam Darnold. USC has been looking for a dual threat QB for a few years now and Darnold has been the closest they have come.

This kid is said to be the top dual threat QB for that class. I seriously doubt he committed to USC to play WR and I seriously doubt USC recruited him to be one.
