The 4 turnovers are a problem, because 3 of them were unforced... but the real reason why the UofA isn't up by 10+ right now is because Brandon Ashley and Nick Johnson are 0-6 on jump shots... which were not good looks.

I feel like Miller needs to have a "come to Jesus" talk with Mayes.

Don't even think about shooting, or assisting right now. Just work on passing the fucking ball. Once you can do that correctly, then start to look for assists. IF you can do that well, them maybe take an open shot. He's all over the place.

Our guys are playing pretty selfish at the moment in my opinion. They are trying to force things. They need to settle down and play within themselves. I'm all for pedal to the metal, except when it effects offensive efficiency in the half court.

No worries. The thing about this team (and all Miller teams with appropriate personel) is that their defense will always carry them through stretches. This is the first time the Cats have seen a zone, and they are trying to shoot the Rams out of it... but when you miss those shots and turn the ball over on unforced errors, it gets ugly. It will pass.

Most people think: "Make a lot of outside shots"?

Reality: Get the ball to the high post, pass to the weak side.. and THEN find the open man under the basket. Make the zone move.
