Coyotes players informed yesterday they will be relocating to SLC starting the 2024-25 season. Happening fast.

What an epic failure AZ turned out to be. Highlight for me was seeing Mike Smith and Doan never win a Cup and Penner putting the dagger in them.

Seeing some interesting stuff. Sale would be for players/roster only. Full rebrand likely when they move.

If Arizona can build a new arena in the next 5 years it will auto-trigger an expansion team/draft for them. That all makes it seem like they'd become the Coyotes again. Like the Cleveland Browns did. Browns became the Baltimore Ravens, but then a new Cleveland Browns team was created.

People pointing out this would make 33 teams. So then someone posted that the NHL's dream is 36 teams by 2030. Citing some article I'd have to find.

So does Arizona TV get Vegas, Anaheim or Utah games as their home games?
It would be weird having to watch your team and hoping that your loser owner can get his act together so he can destroy another team

Clown said he will bring back another team in the next 5 years in his ownership window.

Coyotes had their chance, it didn't work. Scrap it and move on, I think hockey is going to be a lot more supported in SLC.
