Don't think this was necessary at all. But I'm interested to see what the Steelers gave up. Hopefully its just someone that they were going to cut anyways.

I had the exact same response when I saw the update on my phone. lol.

Apparently he's a 2nd year PR/KR guy. Guess the Steelers thought they needed a return specialist. Would be nice to get Antonio Brown off punts.

Wondering if this trade involves QB Josh Dobbs. This trade comes just a few days after Gruden was quoted saying that he wasn't sure who the backup QB was. Maybe he's trying to inject some competition?

Maybe he'll see some run in the slot if Rogers is out long term, but PIT needs a return guy more than a slot.

I don't remember him being like that. Not a great player and wasn't going to make the Cowboys 53, but I thought he was a decent guy

yea I'm probably overthinking it. Probably just swapping some late round picks. Essentially PIT moving a few slots in later rounds just to acquire a return specialist. Not a bad move.

Just a young guy full of himself. He's extremely confident in himself, overly in fact when on the field. Assuming the price isn't very high he's a good pickup. He just needed to learn when to get away from the ball on a punt, learn that in the NFL not every kick is a TD if you can just secure it.

Honestly he didn't get a fair shot here in Dallas, no one really knows what he still could be. I'd rather have him than the spare we got from OAK for him, but he was redundant behind Cole.

That's the curious part of this for me as well....kinda of a stocked pantry for WRs...PIT liked this guy coming out of the draft and we know how Tomlin is...if they liked a guy once and he becomes available later, he has no problem circling back.

*Are they going to sacrifice Patterson to the PS?
*Maybe DHB & Hunter are being viewed as 1 or the other?
*Maybe they are giving up on Rogers in 2018 and shelving him to IR?
*This effectively ends the Quadree Henderson experiment.
*This takes AB off punts hopefully. And they will likely pair him with JuJu on KR.

DHB/Hunter...one or the other...I can see that happening
Rogers...quite possible
Henderson...I think so
Punts...I don't think they make this move if they were going to keep AB on punt returns.
