His strike out rate is phenomenal: 2 strikes outs per inning pitched ( that is elite level )

batting avg against him is a little high. and his W-L record is atrocious. BB rate is a tad higher than I like, he throws a lot of pitches to each batter to strike out so many, and will walk more guys than avg.

Not sure of his velocities on his fastball still in mid to upper 90's? His slider is his strikeout pitch.
I would love to have a hometown kid on the bump for the Mariners.

yes a few home town guys who like it here....could and prob would make a big dif...for...a seattle club...who cant sign..free agents...

and has trouble keeping..guys...from elsewhere....when it comes time to re-sign
