Guerrero (OF) is rated their 5th prospect, but has not tools that rate above average other than his arm

Reinheimer (MIF) is 14th but doesn't really do anything well either... slightly above average runner?

For Seattle who's in win now mode, it's probably worth a shot to turn their season around, if it works probably a good move, if it doesn't then they are out what probably amount to fairly mediocre prospects,
but then again, you never know with prospects, but neither at this point are anything special, just run of the mill AA prospects

Agree. Awful early though for a trade ... but with TEX acquiring Hamilton SEA had to do something.

How much longer will TEX keep Michael Choice on its 40man?

Through 46 games and 166 ABs ... .217 .278 .367 .645 ... 52 SO, 12 BB, 5 HR.

Hard to figure out where he is on the depth chart given that TEX had to go create 40 man spots for Peguero and Blanks, Smolinski has been up and down twice and with Hamilton out there is talk of extending Gallo past when AB returns.

IMO Choice is gone between the ASB and the deadline ... by trade or by DFA.

The best situation a team can have with regards to starting pitching is for every starter to be able to go 7 innings or more leaving the team with a chance to win. All the Rangers starters are doing just that right now. They were all either home grown or acquired off the clearance rack and all are currently doing a great job If they are able to continue the Rangers will surprise everyone.

Jason Frasor DFA'd by Royals.

Wouldn't mind seeing us take another look at him. He resurrected himself here last time, why not again? Maybe they would take Feliz for Frasor?

Man, this sucks. Having a team that looks good but can't compete because of a few injuries. Sitting on the fence as buyers and sellers, unable to make the moves to really clear space and make another run at players. For example, we could probably sell Prince and Mitch right now for a reasonable price and save money on Prince. Beltre probably won't get much back, but he would clear room for gallo and we could send him to a team that is a legit contender to try to get him a ring. But then why get Hamels if we are going to be looking rebuild next year? I understand selling Yo and Colby if a buyer is asking around, but I doubt we get any return on either of them.

Fence sitting sucks.

We shouldn't be fence sitting, we should be selling all the way, it wasn't a very good team to begin with, we just had a nice lucky run, it was all smoke and mirrors though

Now that we bought Hamels, sell the hell out of of Gallardo and let's get ready for next year. Any nagging injuries? Get em fixed this season.
