State of Nebraska ready to sue Federal Governent

The Associated Press reported March 22 that ten states had agreed to file suit over federal healthcare reform legislation expected to be signed into law by President Obama on March 23rd.

The story says, "States are already lining up to sue the federal government over the constitutionality of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul. Officials in at least 10 states have agreed to file a lawsuit challenging the legislation."

The states preparing to file suit include Texas, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington.

I think the bill is as good as done. President Obama will sign it tomorrow morning. I heard some douche-bag on FOX who carries around a copy of the constitution in his pocket claiming that this bill was unconstitutional because the government can´t tell businesses what to do like this. Well, the government tells businesses and individuals what to do all the time, how they may live their lives and run their companies. Funny to see a guy who carries around a copy of the constitution know nothing about the constitution and still try to use it to promote is partisan views. Of all people Geraldo laid the smack down on him and he was properly stymied.

Don´t know if I´d believe everything Savage says. He doesn´t even believe some of it, just says it to keep crazy people listening.

He did say and believe the following though:

however a fine if you dont buy insurnace
8 billions in extra "tax" on insurance companies
some other huge number on pharm companies
the administration saying "we will control insurance companies"
obama's advisor saying "well you voted for socialism"

this will get held up in court, but sooner or later it will get cut down

and yes brasky is does suck when people get sick, and yes fuck them if they go to the hospital and i have to pay for it
i am very generous with my money, but i do not, and will not be told i have to support (even more) poor people

IMO all entitlement programs need to just go away... call me a jerk or cold hearted but i still have never found it in the constitution saying "we the government know better then you and will take care of you with other peoples money"

i'll pay the 2.5% fine for not having any insurance, then i'll just go get insurance when I feel sick, they wont be able to say no

my other option is get a 40% tax because my current health coverage is too good

Also, people probably think I am a democrat.....nope, notta. Not even close. I am, however, a Republican who is willing to take a look at the whole picture rather than just the right-hand side of the picture. We will never make it if we continue to take sides like we are right now.....in the past we have always succeeded when one side listens to the other side and cooperates.
