damn, that sounds easy and delicious.

My friends mom made them recently, I told him that I couldn't decide which made me love his mother more, the pecan-pretzal Rolos or her lack of a gag reflex.

The Lasagna receipe;

1- pound of ground beef
1- pound of Italian sausage (hot or mild)
1- 32 ounce of prego pasta sauce
1- 24 cottage cheese or 16 ounce ricotta cheese
2- 12 pkgs of Mozzarella shredded cheese2- eggs
1 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 pkg of Lasagna noodles
1 cake size pan

Brown the ground beef and the italian sausage( without the casing on the sausage) together and drain. Put the jar of the pasta sauce in the ground beef and let simmer for 10 minutes.
In a large pan, boil the lasagna noodles in water with one tablespoon of cooking oil (this prevents the water from boiling over). Drain the noodles.
In a separate bowl MIX the cottage cheese or ricotta cheese together with the 2 eggs and 3/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese.
Now with the pan, place a small layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the pan, then spread the noodles over it and start with the layers.
Noodles then the meat sauce, the cottage cheese layer, then the noodles, meat sauce and the cottage cheese layer again....repeat this until it reaches the top.
Bake at 375 degrees until brown on the top which takes about 30 minutes or so. After it is finished, let it sit for 10 minutes and it will remain hot but will slice much better.

this recipe is so much better with the cottage cheese btw. i include both because i know some people prefer ricotta

2-12 packages of cheese!!!! That's 24 packages of cheese!! Damn that some cheese lasagna!!! You won't be poopin for a while.

its actually -10 packages of cheese. If you eat the lasagna, you have to take cheese to the store and leave it.

The Lasagna receipe;

1- pound of ground beef
1- pound of Italian sausage (hot or mild)
3- 6 ounce cans of tomato paste (and 3 6oz cans of water)
1- brick cream cheese

1- 16oz sour cream
1- pkg of Mozzarella shredded cheese
1 pkg of Lasagna noodles
1 cake size pan

Brown the ground beef and the italian sausage( without the casing on the sausage) together and drain. Put the tomato paste and water in the ground beef, stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
In a large pan, boil the lasagna noodles in water with one tablespoon of cooking oil (this prevents the water from boiling over). Drain the noodles.
In a separate bowl MIX the cream cheese and sour cream together (I nuke the cream cheese for 30 seconds on medium to soften it)

Noodles, then the meat sauce, then the sour cream mixture. Rinse and repeat until everything is used up.

Dump the bag of cheese on top and spread around.

Bake at 375 degrees until brown on the top which takes about 15 minutes or so. After it is finished, let it sit for 10 minutes and it will remain hot but will slice much better.

FIFY!

It is really good..
You can use your favorite buffalo wing sauce, I use Franks and I've used Texas Sting. They're pretty much the same taste.

The only way my wife makes it with Ricotta is if I buy it. She buys Cottage when she makes it.
I can eat it either way.
