Dell McGee and OL COach Sam Pittman are the top two ranked recruiters in the country on 247. We ain't your Big 12 patsies though. We got money too.

Calm down, I said covet. Not to mention, we don't even steal Big 12 coaches, we steal Louisville and Houston coaches these days. :tsk:

Florida had the best recruiting class of all time in 2010?

Man, talk about wasted talent.

Every Alabama class since 12 is on that list. Great job, you bastards.

On paper, this is the best recruiting class UGA has ever had.

Georgia has never really had issues recruiting, but were never a threat for landing the top class before. Smart has been killing it in recruiting both of his full classes, and even in 2016, he managed to maintain most of a solid class after Richt was fired.

But before this season, Georgia had never got more than 3 five stars in a single class.

Smart has made it a n emphasis from day one to lock down in state talent. You'll never keep em all, but he's made good on his word and getting a lot of recruits that would have been Bama commits not too long ago.

UGA has always been solid, but this is a combination of things going right for them. Coaching, having in state talent and locking up the state are a great combination. Congrats on a job well done.

This class is killer. I hope the Buckeyes get to test that talent for the next couple years.

I think this is the best class that has ever existed. They have something like 7 guys in the top 30. That's bonkers. I'm just glad it's not Bama.

According to a link posted earlier, the 2010 Florida recruiting class was the best ever, and it didn't amount to much. You've gotta get the talent for sure, but you also have to do something with it.

Exciting times for sure though.

Part of the thing that's never evaluated in these rankings is the class vs. the school's needs. It's possible to load up on high end players that you don't necessarily need, without addressing real concerns of your team. I'm actually a little surprised that it's not somehow in the rankings somehow already; a class in relation to open spots and positions of need.

With that said, it's hard looking at that class and not thinking it's going to excel. I mean, Georgia has 1/3 of an offense in five star players in that class.

Maybe he should watch some OU games? :noidea:

Ohh come on. Sure you don’t load up on five star guys. But in reality you are recruiting and getting better players then 90% of the B12. Its not like OU has to be like a Michigan State and develop low rated guys.
