Going through the all 22, and so I'm working on drawing up the plays. Figured I'd post them as I get them done. I'll try to do one drive at a time. So... without further ado.
Protection breaks down in the middle almost immediately and Russ has to roll left. Metcalf blocks at the top of his out route. Russell throws the ball away, Metcalf closest target.
Protection in middle breaks down in less than 2 seconds. Russ rolls left, breaks tackle. Everett comes open in middle of the field on his in route, but Russ under too much pressure, runs for 7 yards.
Handoff left, pitch back to Wilson. All receivers show block before going on deep routes. Dissley blocks, then peals to flat. Russ rolls right under pressure, dumps to Dissley for 6 yard loss.
The flea flicker play just killed that second drive. Can't say if it was terrible design (which it was) or terrible execution (which it was) that killed it more. There was no chance that play gets completed to anyone but Disley, and as we saw - the chances of positive yardage were slim.
