SEC, ACC & Big 12 Haven't Canceled Jack

So what's the deal with the Big 10. 9 conference games + 1. Is the one going to be another conference game, or can they play an OOC game with a team relatively close by?

Have no idea.. but I bet if the Big 12, Sec, and ACC still have a 12 game season and the Pac and Big stay at 10 games.. bet that's going to hurt them when it comes to CFP selection. tosu and oregon better be undefeated, because a one loss Big 12 champ will get in over them like it was 2017 all over again

I don't know.. I mean TCU just agreed to play UNLV at home. South Florida is getting ready for Texas in the opener. The 9 plus 1 was supposed to be a back up if they couldn't go through with the regular season OOC schedule.

It gives some leeway, which I think we'll need.

Always prepare until things change. USCs AD kept saying the Alabama game was on until it wasn’t. Leagues are gonna want the flexibility given the uncertainty

The virus makes this season very difficult to predict. Lose a key QB and you can lose to a lesser team.

With all the exceptions being made this year, it would be good if they could guarantee that any power 5 team that wins their conference gets in to an expanded playoff field.

The season is unlikely to start on time

Some teams playing games they can, and not playing others.

It won't mean much unless every game is played.

Everybody should have at least 2 games to play in September and 3 in October. The rest can be played in Nov and Dec. Forget the million bowl games and just go straight to the playoffs.

Since a committee decides who is in the play off I don’t think it’s going to matter much. They will have played enough games for the members to figure who are the best 4 teams.

OU has asked for permission to move their opener with SE Missouri up a week. This would give them a bye week after each of their first 2 games. Seems like good planning to me.
